L7 Entertainment goes live in Sweden, powered by GiG
L7 Entertainment has, through its Lucky Days brand, gone live in Sweden following regulatory approval, powered by GiG’s award-winning platform.
Although already present in Sweden, today’s announcement follows the trend of operators trusting GiG to help them enter new markets. Based on a wealth of experience, the available solutions offer brands opportunities to grow thanks to a large existing regulated offer. There are currently thirteen supported markets, with the Canadian province of Ontario joining this list most recently, and the US states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania expected to join them soon.
Sweden, especially from an online casino perspective, has continued to grow post-regulation. Indeed, according to H2 gaming data, revenue for this vertical grew by 17% between 2020 and 2021, and expects similar annual growth for the foreseeable future. The driving factors for this confidence are the combination of a safer environment for players driving increased onshore revenue.
Martin Collins, Director of Sales and Business Development at GiG, said, “At GiG, we pride ourselves on being the platform of choice for regulated markets. We have been operating in Sweden since day one and continue to serve the market on behalf of many of our clients’ brands. The addition of Lucky Days further expands our footprint and highlights the growing trend to embrace regulation and provide a safer and more engaging customer experience.
A spokesperson for L7 said: “After working on this project for a long time, it has finally arrived and we are delighted to have the license before the summer. This would not be possible without the hard work of GiG and l L7 team and is an excellent testimony to the cooperation between the two companies.
