Most races, most ticket offices and point tables until September 22

The 2021 European Cricket Championship saw Group B’s third day of action on September 22, with five matches played that day. Five more Group B meetings are scheduled for Thursday 23 September.

The Dutch XI continue to occupy the top spot in the Group B points standings of the 2021 European Cricket Championship with 12 points to their name. Austria, who have eight points in their prize pool, follows the top of the group B standings.

Hungary, which has a record 50 percent, is ranked third in the group. They have six points and are assured of a place in the round of 16 with both teams above them.

Romania and Portugal languish at the bottom of the 2021 European Cricket Championship Group B points table. They must win their two games on Thursday to have any chance of qualifying for the Eliminator.

Spaniard Hamza Saleem is still the top scorer after day eight of the 2021 European Cricket Championship. He smashed 226 points in 10 games, with 65 unbeaten as his best score. Saleem has an excellent hit rate of 223.76 and has hit nine fours and 26 sixes.

Sweden’s Rahel Khan is second in the points standings. He amassed 196 points in nine strokes, with an unbeaten score of 40. Khan’s points reached an impressive strike rate of 210.75 and were studded with 13 limits and 19 sixes.

Norway’s Khizer Ahmed is ranked third in the 2021 European Cricket Championship’s top runners list. He smashed 195 points in Group A action, 45 of which was his best effort. Ahmed scored his points with a formidable strike rate of 232.14, with the help of 11 fours and 18 maximums.

Clayton Floyd (182) from Netherlands XI, Musa Ahmad (145), Victor Lubbers (139) and Boris Gorlee (127), Austrians Razmal Shigiwal (179) and Iqbal Hossain (177), Hungarians Zahir Safi Mohammed (159 ) and Zeeshan Kukikhel (134), Romanians Taranjeet Singh (129) and Sivakumar Periyalwar (90), and Portuguese Amir Zaib (123) and Sharn Gomes (88) are the top scorers of their respective teams.

Spaniard Thomas Vine, with 14 scalps to his name, continues to be the biggest wicket taker after Matchday 8 of the 2021 European Cricket Championship. He has 3/19 as the best return and has an acceptable saving of 9.33.

Sweden’s Azam Khalil, who fired 13 opposition drummers, is in second place in the wicket standings. He had 4/10 as his best spell but was caught for an average of 10.29 points per series.

Hungarian Abhishek Kheterpal and Spaniard Kuldeep Lal have both won 12 wickets at the 2021 European Cricket Championship so far. Kheterpal, who has a best effort of 4/10, is placed higher thanks to his better saving of 8.00.
